Here are the swatches of all the ELF mineral lipsticks I’ve tried. I have to say that these are not only affordable (only $5!), but they have an elegant high-class feel! Those are two things that make a great combo in my books! Directly from the ELF website, they say these mineral lipsticks provide:
…lips that are as luxurious as they are natural, with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes for soft, natural and brilliant colors.
The Short and Sweet:
- affordable
- creamy without being too soft
- 100% natural ingredients
- pigmented
- cruelty-free (duh!)
My favourite everyday shades are Rosy Raisin and Pouty Petal. I also love the Cheerful Cherry for a more wearable red that’s sits more to the cooler side of the colour wheel. Natural Nymph is the only shade the tends to get a little too “milky” on my lips and without the help of a lipgloss, otherwise it tends to look a little creasy. However, Natural Nymph still a total dupe for MAC’s Myth lipstick (which never looked good on me, you guys know!). All in all, this is another winner from ELF!Nicely Nude:Pouty Petal:Party Pink:Cool Coral:Barely Bitten:Rosy Raisin:Fiery Fushia:Cheerful Cherry:Royal Red:Prime Plum: (shade appears darker in person)Natural Nymph:Rosy Tan:CONCLUSION:Don’t bother spending $20 on a single lipstick. You can get the same amazing quality for $5 with ELF’s mineral line, or you can get ALL the essential lipsticks for $1 each! Now that’s an amazing steal.
