Wow!
It has been a loooong time since I’ve made contact with my virtual world of friends! I must admit, I really really missed you all!
I have officially finished my one year program for Makeup Design for Film and Television (in fact my grad ceremony is in two days). I have learned a lot more than I ever expected to. I look forward to expanding my career in every area I can get my hands on–and sharing it with you! And don’t worry… I’m still a product junkie and will be uploading swatches and interesting How-To’s!
This year allowed me to learn the makeup magic used in movies, work on some amazing student films, a commercial, a local TV News Crew and apprentice in a famous Special FX lab. I made incredible friends and met incredible people who are my mentors. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been gone so long, since the time flew by! I’ve been hard at work, though, and I’ll be sharing lots of the stuff I’ve learned and finally get back into tutorial-making! I’m so excited!
Of course it’s the holidays and soon I’ll be working, but I will have a lot more time to blog and share than I have this past year. 2011 was an incredibly memorable year for me, and I am so glad that many of you have stuck by my side and supported me, even though I’ve been m.i.a for the most part. You are all a huge part of why I believed in myself to finally go after my dreams– and I thank you!
