When I was trying to find a good alternative to expensive makeup brands, such as M.A.C. I heard a lot of people mentioning this NYX brand. I live in Canada and knew of N.Y.C makeup (which is also very cheap), however, I had never heard of NYX.
Ultimately, I found Cherry Culture online and started shopping for NYX there. Then to my surprise I was shopping one day in Save-on-Foods and decided to swing by their cosmetic section. Guess what I found?! NYX cosmetics! I was super happy, because I thought hey- now I don’t have to wait for my lovely NYX products in the mail! Since discovering NYX at Save-On-Foods, I’ve also found NYX at Pharmasave and at Rexall Drugs occasionally.
I don’t know if it’s just where I live, or if the cosmetics section in Save-on-Foods isn’t very popular all together, but there weren’t that many products on the shelf.
***UPDATE: Since posting this article, Pharmasave and Save-On-Foods have expanded their ranges, now you can find palettes, brushes etc. as well.
Just as an aside, it’s always a better bang-for-your-buck if you wait until there is a sale (which there often is at Pharmasave and Save-On for NYX) because if you buy things regular priced, it actually works out to being cheaper to buy at Cherry Culture. You can check out the online flyer for Pharmasave as for weekly deals on NYX.
